Menorca is usually thought of as a summer destination but tourists increasingly visit during the spring and autumn when the weather is cooler and the island less crowded. There is plenty to see and do away from the beach and Menorca has an active sporting community with a full range of land-based sports that visitors are welcome to take part in or attend as spectators.
