Getting Around
A network of bus routes links the main towns, villages and some of the resorts on the island but if you want to get off the beaten track and explore some of the virgin beaches, renting a car, motorbike or moped is highly recommended. A coach service runs every 30 minutes between the airport and the main bus station in Maó. From there you can catch connecting buses to the rest of the island. There is also a taxi rank outside the airport terminal and most car rental companies will deliver your hire vehicle to the airport.
